Shots fired during alleged home invasion

According to South Australia Police, officers were called to a home on Wheatsheaf Road in Morphett Vale at about 2:30 a.m. on Monday after reports of a home invasion. Investigators allege two suspects forced their way into the residence, assaulted a 42-year-old Reynella man, and discharged a firearm inside the house before fleeing the scene.

Although shots were fired, police said no one was struck by gunfire. The victim sustained facial injuries during the assault and was transported to hospital for treatment.

Suspects fled in two vehicles
